St.Nick

'Twas the night before Christmas,
I heard a thump on the roof,
I looked outside,
Suddenly I saw something...POOF!

He came down the chimney,
Holding a sack,
I couldn't see the face,
But I saw the back!

I guess it was St.Nick,
Or could it be...
My wild imagination,
I'm confused you see!

Maybe it was my parents,
Dressed like St. Nick,
Or maybe St.Nick is real,
Tell me which idea I should pick!

I think it is St. Nick,
But I could be wrong,
He came down the chimney,
Instead of ringing the bell...Ding-dong!

I am too confused,
So I'm going to bed,
Merry Christmas to all,
And to all a good night...St.Nick said!

The next day when I opened my present,
The card was signed St.Nick,
I was beginning to think,
It was my parent's trick!
