Hello Everyone

Hola Everybody!

I promised that I will post stories and poems more often. Here comes one!!
If I was a Teacher...

"Mmmmm. Ughh. Ooof!" I groaned and moaned all throughout the day. We had 6 assignments. We also had a math and a science test the next day. I could kiss goodbye free time and say hello to a whole day of work. I don't get what Mrs. Vinalton gets by giving us all this homework. We already know this stuff so why do we have to keep taxing our brains? We could have a relaxing day before 2 tests which consist of about 30 questions each. If I was in her place, I am so sure I would make a way better teacher than Mrs. G.A.L.O.H.(Gives A Lot Of Homework). I silently wished that I could be the teacher of Room 325. But what are the chances of that happening???

The next morning, the worst thing that could happen to me, happened. I was in Mr. Vinalton's body. I realized that I couldn't complain because I had made the wish the day before.Of course, I didn't think it would happen. Also no one will ever believe it. Well I was sorta upset until I realized the awesome points of being in a 30 year old's body.

I got ready for school. Then I drove to school in a metallic blue convertible. Driving is like so totally cool!! I really can't wait till I am 16. On my way to school I went to get some snacks for a party. At 8:00 I went to Room 325. While I was entering I thought about things I could do if I was a teacher. Of course I wouldn't give lectures or homework. I want the kids to enjoy me being their teacher instead of disliking me. I got out my cellphone and ordered 7 large pizzas for the party we were going to have.

When the kids came in, I took role. The was only one absent child! Of course that was Suchi. After taking attendance , I told them about the plans. They were really happy. We watched an PG rated movie while eating pizzas. Wow those kids can eat. There wasn't a single slice of pizza left. After the movie was over, we played dodge ball and did all of the things a 5th Grader would think of as "FUN". Soon the class went out of control and got out of hands. I couldn't handle them. The bell rang precisely at 2:55. You know the saying "Saved by the bell." Well that is exactly what the bell did. It saved me. Thank goodness!

I went back home and wished I was my own normal self again and sure enough I was. The next day I went to school. We had our normal teacher back, but only I knew that. I saw many of my classmates crowding Mrs. Vinalton complimenting her on how fun she was. I saw one of my friends standing on the table imitating a rock star playing the electric guitar. Our poor teacher was really confused and had no idea what was going on. The kids got out of control (AGAIN). Now that was the last straw for Mrs. Vinalton. She yelled at the top of her lungs," QUIET EVERYONE! ZIP IT!" The whole class was quiet instantly. I heard a pin drop.It was so much more peaceful like this. Everything was going in the right order. I understood why teachers kept rules. It is to keep everything going in order so the class can run smoothly and not get so hyper and excited. "Does anyone have anything to say about this?" asked Mrs. Vinalton breaking the silence. I raised my hand so high I thought I was touching the sky. Mrs. Vinalton called on me. I knew she would because I was the only one raising my hand. "Mrs. Vinalton, thank you for keeping rules and giving us homework. It makes it such a better environment to be in for studying and learning. On behalf of the class we are very sorry. We should learn to respect you and the rules. " I said. "Very well said. From now on I expect everyone to respect the class and the rules. I will also be adding an extra 1-2 assignments a week. " said Mrs. Vinalton. I was fine with the idea, but it seems like my friends don't think it's that hot, because i overheard some of my friends whispering. "Is she out of her mind?" "Great. Now I have to stay up even later in the night because extra homework." "This is bunk."

I knew it was weird for me to say that, but I did not really care. A little more homework. How will that hurt anyone? Just 10-15 more minutes and you can always finish a little bit of homework in class. I really would try not to complain that much about school work and hjomework and tests like my friends do 'cause nobody went through and knows what I had gone through, the day before. Also, even if I did tell them about what happened and why I was acting so weirdly, they would never believe it. I bet it would be a nightmare for them if they ever did go into Mrs. Vinalton's body. Even though it would be like a nightmare for my classmates, for me it was a very great learning experience.

THE END

Did everyone like it??? I hope you guys did.

Bye-bye,
Suchi
